James Acaster

James Acaster wants to be in a Mariachi Band and date Yoko Ono. Fact. His mission of the night was to prove Yoko did’t split up The Beatles. That and form a band that would never split up – even if it means going down with the ship. With a style and delivery akin to Stephen Merchant (not a bad thing in my book!), James settled in to his act, the comedy flowing more fluently in the latter part of the show. From French rhymes to why John Doe rules (and Joe Bloggs does not) and ‘Titanic’ moments, the highlight was working out who was on the £20 note. Would you check your wallet or Google it…?
