Heath was described as white, 5ft 8in tall, with a stocky or muscular build and either short brown hair or a shaved head. He has a large tribal tattoo on his right arm.

Anyone who sees him or knows of his whereabouts is asked to phone Sussex Police immediately on 101 or call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

Heath was jailed for five years in June 2010 after pleading guilty to attacking artist Joel Henson, 25, and causing him grievous bodily harm a year earlier in June 2009.

Judge Anthony Niblett also sentenced Heath – then 17 years old – to a year in prison, to run concurrently, for perverting the course of justice by trying to intimidate a witness.

The court – Hove Crown Court – was told that Mr Henson was repeatedly attacked by Heath and two others, starting at The Level, in Brighton.

Mr Henson was later found unconscious in Lewes Road and taken to hospital for life-saving emergency brain surgery.

He was discharged from hospital in July 2009 but died in a bedsit in Kemp Town in September 2009 from a drugs overdose.
