Clever Peter and Friends

Clever Peter are fine purveyors of the art of sketch comedy and while they weren’t on absolute top form here, they still delivered a highly entertaining and amusing show. They presented a series of subtle, well rounded and engaging skits, interspersed with strong guest slots from the effervescent character comedian Anna Morris and the neo-vaudeville musical duo Bob and Jim, whose quickfire cockney knees-up reworkings of modern pop songs were a real treat. Clever Peter’s website says they hope to make this a regular night in Brighton, which would be a real boon for the city’s comedy scene if it happens.
