Stand Up & Slam

Rob Carter and Oli Forsyth were the hosts of the innovative night which sees poetry taking on comedy. Judgement of the standard of either side is given by the audience’s cheers, adding a well placed element of tension to the night. I have not laughed this hard in a very long time. Rich Wilson, Archie Maddox, Michael Clarke and Gramski were the talented wordsmiths who made this a night to remember, along with our two trash talking hosts. The cherry on the comedy cake was the entrance of Rob Carter’s alter ego, Christopher. Inspired. These guys will be playing for Brighton Fringe; book it now.
