Portslade man in hospital after stabbing; teen wanted in connection

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in Portslade.

Police were called to St Nicholas Road at about 3.30pm on Friday

The victim, a 20-year-old local man, was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with serious but not life threatening injuries.

A 20-year-old man from Eastbourne was arrested in connection with the incident and been bailed till next month.

Police want to trace a second suspect – a 16-year-old boy from Brighton – and urge anyone with details to contact them.
