Massey: Jo-Blaise Martin & her team are taking Massey Property Services to the next level

Jo-Blaise Martin joined Massey in 2002 and has worked in the property world since 1998, but in January this year she took over the business and is determined to create a new dynamic for the business. The company will now focus exclusively on lettings.

“This is an extremely busy business and one that requires a very high level of professionalism and expert legal knowledge. We all have to keep abreast of changes in legislation and contract law to do this well and I have total confidence that I have around me the ideal team with the same commitment to being the very best. That means a lot of hard work and ongoing training to stay at the top of the game.

“I am very team orientated, we are utterly professional and I have the highest qualifications attainable in the lettings industry. We are capable of solving any problem that is thrown at us when it comes to Lettings and we also offer a tenancy consultancy service.

“I love this industry and so does my team of David Horabin, our lettings manager, Marie Taha, our office coordinator who keeps things glued together and Liz Jukes, the accounts manager. We have a very direct approach. This enables us to be honest and upfront, which combined with excellent communication is what sets us apart (or makes us different) to other agents.

The highest qualifications available

“We have a full range of properties from studios to family homes and clients who have only one or two properties to large professional property portfolio owners. Our priority is finding the right people for each property, we do not just move any tenant into a property. Keeping both landlords and tenants happy and managing property maintenance is key to our success.

“We work with great contractors who give us priority treatment due to the volume of work they receive from us. This means that tenants maintenance gets seen to promptly and efficiently while keeping the cost sensible for our clients. We believe in good communications in the office as well as with our landlords and tenants, we meet every morning and make sure that we all know what we have to do each day. Communication and open discussion at the start of the day means that we can not only deal with what we are personally doing but help all the other members of this close knit team.”
