Seun Kuti

Seun Kuti lead the band and an eager audience through a highly energetic, exuberant and exhilarating set. Son of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, Seun has developed the style further whilst retaining the heart and sensibilities. A strong social and political message pervaded, with inequality and the responsibility of Artists to raise consciousness as well as energy being the main focus. The grooves were driving, the brass punchy, the artists were in their element, and the audience? Well, we all felt the explosive power in that room as the floorboards bounced under our feet, united in music.
