Emeli Sandé – Long Live The Angels Tour

It’s been a little while since the Aberdonian award winning Emeli Sandé has been in front of her public but she did not disappoint. Her vocal range is mesmerising, delivered with sheer clarity, sincerity and belief. She charmingly introduce each song with a personal message of her highs & lows, love, inspirations and also gratitude to her fans. Sandé’s three classy backing singers, The Halos complemented her soulful gospel voice throughout. Her eight piece band were on point and in particular Mike Davies’ solos on guitar . Superb. Half way through Sandé emerged in the middle of the stalls much to everyone’s delight and flawlessly delivered a very intimate and touching rendition of ‘Clown’ on her piano. She introduced ‘Starlight’ the first release from her new EP which met with great applause. Talented is an understatement -this lady can sing so go see her. No gimmicks required. Pure talent.
