Louise Reay: Eraserhead

What a year it has been for Louise Reay. As if going through a divorce wasn’t wrenching enough, her work is being censored and she is knee deep in legal proceedings. We were expecting an all new show. After preparing it and then being told she could not perform it, Louise has risen to the challenge and found ways to keep on performing, sharing and showing the absurdity of this situation. A less resilient, seasoned and adaptive performer may have backed off, buy Louise has flexed her creative muscles, bought an oversized grey blazer and produced something brave, funny and very self aware. I applauded her prowess and stamina as much as her amazing physical commitment and awesome presence.
