Chiorology!

This sweltering spring evening saw two choirs, The Dulcetones and Brighton Swing Choir, joining forces to raise voice and good feelings. The two choir leaders were very charismatic, clearly passionate about music and what they do. They both chose and arranged the songs well, sadly the sound engineer didn’t manage to harness and balance the fullness of the choirs’ sound so it was a disjointed musical experience, more bass please! Highlights for me were their arrangement of Minnie Riperton’s ‘Le Fleurs’ and a brave a cappella rendition of a 90s rave anthem. Very vibrant and enthusiastic.
