Betsy: Wisdom Of A Brighton Whore was one of the hits of Brighton Fringe 2019, the story of a young Brighton girl struggling to survive in the grimy male dominated world of a town where the rich were rich and the poor were desperate. Isabella McCarthy Somerville gives a heartbreaking and heart warming performance as the desperate Betsy and is reviving this hit show in the 2022 Brighton Fringe festival at a new seafront venue in the Brighton Fishing Museum.
