Nick is a self taught multi instrumentalist, writer and vocalist. He started his musical career at the age of 6 when he joined his local choir, from the age of 9 he taught himself guitar and by the age of 14 was playing his own songs with his first band.
Adopted at birth to an academic family, it was soon evident that his musicality came from somewhere else; Nick always felt he had come from a musical parentage.
Finding his birth mother in 2003, confirmed this, as she worked in the music industry alongside Sir George Martin at Air Studios, London.
He is currently working towards establishing contact with his birth father’s family, which isn’t easy, as he is a high profile artist.
With a career spanning 20 years in the recording industry, Nick has been involved with stages at various festivals across the UK, providing sound and engineering services.
In 1997 he formed ‘Jain’, an indie rock band, who were produced and promoted around the US with interest from major labels RCA and Universal.
In 2003 he formed an ambient rock band ‘Hedphonik Orange’, playing at festivals and venues nationwide, supporting Dreadzone at Sunrise Festival.
In 2009 his last live project was developing ‘Temple Hedz’ over a 2 year period into a dynamic song based act. Also taking on the role as Frontman/Singer/Songwriter
Temple Hedz performed at some great venues across Europe including headlining Tbilisi Open Air in Georgia.
Nick is currently writing new material for publishing, and keeping busy with his mobile recording business www.brightonmobilerecording.co.uk
