Win a meal at Manna vegetarian and vegan restaurant
If you’re planning a trip to the capital this summer, then be sure to check out vegetarian restaurant Manna in Primrose Hill.

Always vegetarian, the restaurant has now been fully vegan for over two years. Manna’s owner, Roger Swallow, and his wife Robin’s vegan philosophy stems from California, their primary home. Manna’s menu consists of a broad international fusion of traditional recipes using the freshest, most nutritious, organic and locally sourced products available, including some quirky ones.

“We’ve been serving gourmet vegetarian food for the past 44 years at Manna,” says Roger. “We’ve strived to show that plant-based cuisine, and healthy eating, can mean connoisseur taste and gourmet presentation.”

Most importantly, Manna has delicious food. Typical dishes found on the menu include a crisp ravioli filled with wild mushroom and walnut pate with fennel cream sauce, sundried tomato pesto and balsamic reduction, organic pumpkin and fennel seed sausages on a bed of parsnip and carrot mash, or marinated tempeh and oyster mushroom tempura served on a bed of pickled Japanese coleslaw with tamari and hoisin.
Then there are the desserts: pistachio and vanilla crème brûlée or baked apple stuffed with caramelised walnuts and cranberries in a puff pastry wrap and served with a calvados caramel sauce and vanilla vegan ice cream. Is your mouth watering yet?

Win Greenman Shave Oil
The smoothest of shaves can also be luxurious, good for your skin and eco-friendly. Hove-based Greenman Shave Oil is made in small batches with raw and organic plant oils.

“Natural oils are great for shaving and skin care,” says maker Russell Honeyman. “My formula was worked out over a couple of decades, after I realised modern lotions irritated my skin. A friend recommended olive oil and tea tree, and I made a mix that doubled as a shave oil and moisturiser with mild antiseptic properties. Over the years, I refined the formula. Natural oils and hot water are all the ingredients you need for a good shave.” We have ten bottles of Greenman Shave Oil to give away.

Q. What oil did Russell’s friend recommend along with tea tree oil?
