Hal Cruttenden – Chubster

Beginning his set with a short dance routine to the song ‘Let it Go’ from Frozen (information supplied by my +1) Hal Cruttenden then went into immediate overdrive, delivering his material as though his life depended on it, and what glorious material it was: sharp, fearless, beautifully unstructured, and extremely funny. The usual bases were covered, politics, relationships, sport, etc, but in Cruttenden’s dextrous hands such familiar topics were given a fresh and engaging spin which kept the audience on its toes and the laugher coming. An exhilarating evening of top-class comedy.
