James Duncan, the Learning & Engagement Officer from the Sussex Wildlife Trust, an authority on British birdsong, wanders through Sussex woodland with BREMF veteran Piers Adams who plays musical imitations of a charming selection of bird calls and songs on his collection of recorders. His renowned skill and astonishingly fast passagework get pretty close to matching the natural beauty of the feathered songsters.
Both these experts are so obviously in their element. Their relaxed and brilliantly informed conversation was a perfect remedy for a very stormy Saturday afternoon.
This event is available for you to hear at your leisure on YouTube until next Saturday.
